How should I approach a relationship with my boyfriend's daughter?

I just feel like her behaviours will be a problem.

I don t know if it is reasonable to say that while under my roof she needs to follow our rules, or something like that.

She is going to be a substantial part of my life because she is obviously a huge part of my boyfriend s.

I just don t understand how that is going to be good for her in the long run, these are vital learning years and getting her way all the time is going to make for a really difficult teenager.

But my boyfriend doesn't correct any of these bad behaviours, and sometimes even makes it worse.

I already understand that seeing as I m not her mum I should never discipline her.

She has no set bed-time, she sleeps in her mother s bed and she s allowed to say ignore or outright say no to requests by her parents, with really no consequences.
